About us

Meet the team

At Caskade, we've built something the water treatment industry hasn't really had before: a genuinely vendor-neutral broker standing between industrial clients and equipment manufacturers, rather than another manufacturer's sales channel wearing a consultant's hat.

The idea started from a simple mismatch. Water treatment is still sold the way energy used to be sold: one supplier, one pitch, repeated endlessly. Energy has since moved on to service models, financing, and real markets. Water hasn't caught up. Renewables followed a clear arc, from voluntary pilots to incentives to binding mandates, and water reuse is now entering that same phase: Barcelona's on-site greywater reuse mandate takes effect in 2026, with similar rules emerging elsewhere in Europe.

So instead of representing a single technology, we work with manufacturer relationships across Europe and compare their solutions honestly for every client. We compare on-site water treatment technologies across 30+ manufacturers and recommend the one that's right for your site, at no cost for standard evaluations. Share your water invoices and a recent lab report, and we do the rest. Our compensation comes from the manufacturer side, so our recommendation has nothing to gain from favoring one solution over another.

That model lets us work across a wide range of sectors (industrial wastewater retrofit, industrial laundries, hospitality and campsites, textile finishing, and surface treatment) in Spain, the DACH region, and the Netherlands, with early groundwork in Mexico.

Caskade was founded in Barcelona by David Fürst Cano, an industrial and AI engineer with more than seven years in industrial B2B, including venture building at Bosch across water, automation, and agrotechnology. In the Spanish market, Caskade operates as EvalAgua, working directly with plant directors, facility managers, and a growing panel of manufacturer partners to get the right treatment technology installed, not just the one someone happened to be selling that quarter.

Regulation is also on our side. Tightening EU discharge rules are pushing plant directors across Spain to act now rather than later (textile finishing, for one, faces a hard compliance deadline in December 2026), which means the market for straightforward, honest technology comparisons is only getting bigger.

Technical Sales

On-site water treatment and reuse technologies

As Technical Sales, you'd be the person a plant director trusts to tell them the truth about their water problem, and the person who turns that trust into a signed evaluation and, eventually, an installed project.

What the role looks like:

  • Meet with plant directors, facility managers, and operations teams on-site across our target sectors.
  • Review client water invoices and lab reports to scope each opportunity, and run evaluations for qualifying clients.
  • Build vendor-neutral technology comparisons: indicative budgets, treatment routes, and return on investment, drawn from our manufacturer network.
  • Present a documented, actionable recommendation, not an academic study, and guide the client through to a signed agreement.
  • Manage the relationship with our manufacturer partners once a client is ready to move to installation.

What we're looking for:

  • Comfortable on-site at industrial facilities, not just behind a screen.
  • Enough technical grounding in water treatment (biological, membrane, physicochemical) to hold a credible conversation with an engineer or plant director.
  • Sales instinct built on being useful and accurate, not on pushing a product.
  • Fluent Spanish is required. German or English is a strong plus as we grow our DACH manufacturer network.
  • Based in or willing to travel across our core markets, starting with Spain.

Initiativbewerbung

Don't see the exact role you're looking for? We're growing in Spain and building our manufacturer network across the DACH region and the Netherlands, with more markets to come. We're always interested in hearing from people who bring something we don't have yet: manufacturer relationships in water treatment, experience in industrial sales or engineering, language skills in German or Spanish, or a strong point of view on how the water industry should work.

Tell us who you are, what you've done, and why this space interests you. We read every application ourselves.
